Team LoLzzz has claimed the championship title at the ‘WCG 2025 National Showdown India: Creator Rumble’ (hereinafter “National Showdown India”).

Global esports brand WCG (World Cyber Games) announced that Team LoLzzz—consisting of LoLzzz, Sushi, Crow, and Neutrino—secured first place among eight competing teams at the National Showdown India held on the 13th at the Cidco Convention Centre in Mumbai, India.

Hosted by Bigpicture Interactive and sponsored by Smilegate, FUJIFILM, GIGABYTE, and Royal Challenge, the National Showdown India featured a total prize pool of 1,000,000 INR. A total of 32 prominent Indian creators—including Jonathan, Scout, Mortal, Mizo, Kaashvi, Payal, Shreeman, and LoLzzz—served as team leaders and competed in WCG’s proprietary board game, “Creator Rumble,” divided into eight teams.

The first half of the competition, held on the 12th, featured matches in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), a four-title web game relay, and Valorant. Team Scout gained an early advantage with consecutive wins in Rounds 1 and 2, but Team Mortal ultimately took the lead, advancing to the 26th tile out of 60 and securing first place in the first half.

The second half, held on the 13th, included Party Animals, Asphalt Legend, and BGMI. Team LoLzzz, Team Shreeman, and Team Scout each won first place in Rounds 4, 5, and 6. In the final dice roll, Team LoLzzz reached the 57th tile—just one tile ahead of Team Jonathan and Team Kaashvi, who reached the 56th—clinching the championship by a razor-thin margin.

This year’s National Showdown India also featured a special mission within the board game inspired by “BTS Cooking On STOVE: TinyTAN Restaurant,” a title serviced by Smilegate’s global platform STOVE, adding an extra layer of fun to the competition. The event recorded a peak concurrent viewership of approximately 80,000.

Meanwhile, WCG announced that the grand finale of the year, the ‘WCG 2025 Festival,’ will be held over three days from December 12 to 14 in Indonesia. Bringing together creators from around the world, the WCG 2025 Festival will showcase a variety of interactive on-site programs, beginning with the Creator Rumble national matches. More details on the WCG 2025 Festival will be shared through WCG’s official website and social media channels.
