There was an error in the tournament structure section. The structure described in the ''Notice for WCG 2011 Grand Final Gamers'' news article is the correct one.

Updates to Tournament Rules

a. Tekken 6

The rule for breaking tie between 3 or more players in a group has been changed as follows

Ÿ   In case of 3 or more players having the same number of points, the following rules will be applied.

1)     greater number of points obtained in all the ''tiebreaker group'' matches, 3 for a win zero for a loss.

2)     greater number of points obtained in the ''tiebreaker group'' match (or matches) between the players concerned;

3)     If both of the players do not qualify to advance to the next phase, they are deemed tied with same ranking.

b. Carom 3D

Both stage of the tournament has been updated to use best 3 out of 5 games format as follows.

The ‘Carom 3D' tournament shall consist of two parts:

1)     Group stage: a round-robin consisting of one match against each group opponent; (best 3 out of 5 games).

2)     Knockout stage: single elimination (best 3 out of 5 games).

c. World of Warcraft: Cataclysm

The game version has been updated to 4.3 as follows.

Game Version: World of Warcraft®: Cataclysm™ (v4.3)

* Client version will be 4.3, but will be using SE9 equipments. However, character stats will be changed as per the patch.

* Please refer to following page for more information on the patch:  http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/3964559/Patch_43_Hour_of_Twilight-11_22_2011#blog

d. Special Force

Rule for unfair practices has changed as follows.

Unfair Practices Subject to Penalty

Ÿ   When a player has died, he must remove his hands from his keyboard-mouse and stop to communicate with other players until the beginning of the next round.

Group Drawing Changes

Australia decided to send a team of players after the group drawing was completed. This was great news for Australian players of FIFA, StarCraft II, and Counter-Strike, however, this caused a problem for us where to add them in the group. For FIFA and StarCraft II, El Salvador was not able to make it to the event this year, so Australian players in those two games replaced the El Salvador player's spot. For Counter-Strike, WCG Committee decided to do one draw with groups A through H. Group D was drawn and Australian player was added to that group.
